LED SOLUTIONS - THE FUTURE OF LIGHTING
Lighting market is undergoing yet another revolution regarding electrical light emission, enabling new applications and new ways of lighting environments and objects.
We are talking about the light generated by electronic components called LED - - Light Emitting Diode
LED’s can be of low (0.1W), medium (0.2W to 0.5W) or high power (above 0.5W). In general, the low and medium power are used for signaling and decorative effects.
High power led’s can now be applied in general lighting.
Advantages of LED systems
- Longer lifespan (50,000 hours) and consequently low maintenance;
- Low consumption (compared to incandescent lamps) and energy efficiency (around 50 lumens / Watt);
- They do not emit ultraviolet light (and are ideal for applications where this type of radiation is undesirable). As an example, paintings art;
- No emission of infrared radiation, making so that the beam is cold.
- Resistance to shock and vibration: it uses solid-state technology without filaments and no glass, thus increasing its robustness.
- Increased security, because they work at low voltage (<33V). Provide safety for users during the installation and use.
- Reducing emissions of greenhouse gases, the LED has low levels of CO2 and does not produce heat;
